Our well-trained expert technicians offer a variety of automotive service repairs from Oil & Filter
Change, Battery Service, Factory Recommended Service/Maintenance, 30/60/90K Mileage Maintenance, Distributorless Ignition, Fuel Injection, Ignition, Ignition Wires & Cables, Oil, Lube, and Filter, Spark Plugs along with complete
undercar systems.
Heating and CoolingThe purpose of the engine's cooling system is to remove excess heat from the engine, to keep the automotive engine operating at its most efficient
temperature, and to get the automotive engine up to the correct temperature as soon as possible after starting.
Ideally, the automotive cooling system keeps a car's engine running at its most efficient temperature no matter what the automotive operating conditions are. Our automotive repair shop offers service repair of
heating and cooling systems from hoses, belts, radiators, thermostats, electric fans, transmission coolers, fans and their clutches to water pumps.
Electrical SystemsKeep in mind that when the automotive industry was in its infancy, it used electricity only to ignite inside the automotive engine. By the late 1920's,
the automotive electric starter replaced the hand crank, electric headlights made acetylene lamps obsolete and the braying of the automotive electric horn drowned out the squeak of the hand-squeezed air horn.
Today, automotive vehicles require an elaborate electrical configuration of circuits just to produce, store, and distribute all the electricity required for simple everyday operation.
Our automotive repair shop offers the following automotive electrical repair for all systems like the Alternators, Batteries, Electrical Wiring, Diagnosis and Starters.
TransmissionsWhen it comes to your vehicle's transmission, you should keep in mind that most transmission problems start out small and get worse over time. Taking
care of your automotive transmission repair early on can go a long way in saving you money. We have years of experience in all types of transmissions and transmission service including transmission repair, pto-power
take off, electrical diagnosis, transfer cases, manual clutch service & repair, transmission band adjustments, manual transmission repair, transmission fluid exchange, transmission rebuild.
Internal Engine ServicesEnsuring your engine is up to par is an important component of a well-maintained vehicle. But you shouldn't trust your engine repair needs to
just anyone! The Car Doctor offers affordable engine repair services that are hassle-free and reliable every time such as Cylinder Block, Cylinder Head and Timing.
Brake SystemsYou should know that your brakes are the most important part of your car. If your brakes fail, the result can be disastrous. Your automotive braking
system is actually an energy conversion device, which converts the kinetic energy (momentum) of your automotive vehicle into thermal energy (heat). When you step on the automotive system's brakes, you
command a stopping force ten times as powerful as the force that puts the car in motion.
An automotive braking system can exert thousands of pounds of pressure on each of the four brakes. We offer full brake system repair services including brake fluid flush, lining replacement, master
cylinders, drums, pad replacement, emergency brakes, power boosters, brake lines, rotors, wheel cylinders.
DrivetrainWe will diagnose the situation and help you make a decision. Our competitively priced Drive Train services include Clutch, Differential, Drive Line and Transmission.
Suspension WorkEnsuring your suspension is up to par is an important component of a well-maintained vehicle. But you shouldn't trust your suspension work to just
anyone! We offer affordable services that are hassle-free and reliable every time. Our Suspension services include Equalizers, Hangers, Shocks, Torque Arms & Walking Beams.
Computer DiagnosticsAnother benefit of having a communications bus is that each module can communicate faults to a central module, which stores the faults and can
communicate them to an off-board diagnostic tool which means it can make it easier for technicians to diagnose problems with the car, especially intermittent problems, which are notorious for disappearing as soon
as you bring the car in for repairs.
We use the latest in computer diagnostics equipment to analyize your system.
Let's take a look at how microprocessors and communications standards have made cars easier to build.
Sophisticated Engine Controls
Before emissions laws were enacted, it was possible to build a car engine without microprocessors. With the enactment of increasingly stricter emissions laws, sophisticated control schemes were needed to regulate
the air/fuel mixture so that the catalytic converter could remove a lot of the pollution from the exhaust. Controlling the engine is the most processor-intensive job on your car, and the engine control unit (ECU) is the most
powerful computer on most cars.
The ECU uses closed-loop control, a control scheme that monitors outputs of a system to control the inputs to a system, managing the emissions and fuel economy of the engine (as well
as a host of other parameters). Gathering data from dozens of different sensors, the ECU knows everything from the coolant temperature to the amount of oxygen in the exhaust. With this data, it performs millions of
calculations each second, including looking up values in tables, calculating the results of long equations to decide on the best spark timing and determining how long the fuel injector is open. The ECU does all of this to
ensure the lowest emissions and best mileage.
